His goal was to create a new home building experience for his customers, where they were heard, understood, respected and kept in the light during what is likely the biggest investment they’ll make in their lives.
Meet Steve Conway
With more than 30 years in the construction industry working on small renovations through to large-scale commercial projects, Steve found his passion was in realising the dreams of Australian people, not the commercial goals of corporations.
From this experience, he developed a formula to create the best customer experience. Taking you from the ideas you’ve sketched on the back of a napkin all the way through to turning the key in the lock of your new front door. It’s the Conway CMS way.
Culmination of qualifications and experience
As a trusted Clarence Valley registered Master Builder, Steve has a breadth of knowledge and experience beyond his peers. Starting his working career as a builder under the watchful eye of his Master Builder father, he later went to university to develop building planning skills through a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
He oversaw large commercial building projects as a senior engineer in Canberra, before bringing his knowledge and experience to the Clarence Valley to follow his heart as a dream maker for Australian homeowners.
Uniting the emotion and the practicalities of building
Throughout Steve’s time as a senior engineer for commercial projects, he found the work exciting and challenging, yet lacking the inspiration and human touch of planning, designing and building a home for a family.
The dream of doing work with a deeper sense of community drew Steve back to becoming a home builder. To him, nothing is more rewarding than bringing lifestyle dreams – like yours – to reality. Throughout the home building process, his greatest reward comes in the joy he sparks with his clients when they cut the ribbon on the new home.
